Q. What is adExcellence?
A: Microsoft adExcellence is a program that will give you the training and expertise to get the most out of your adCenter campaigns. You’ll have access to training materials, and when you become an adExcellence Member you will gain special privileges to build your expertise and business with Microsoft adCenter.

Q: How do I participate?
A: To get started, visit the Microsoft adExcellence Classroom to view the free training materials. If you are interested in becoming an accredited Microsoft adExcellence Member, you will need to sign up for the adExcellence exam and achieve a passing score of at least 80%.

Q: I forgot my password. How do I retrieve my password?

Q: Why do you need my Microsoft adCenter username?
A: During the sign-up process for the Microsoft adExcellence exam, we need your Microsoft adCenter username to validate that you are a current Microsoft adCenter customer. Only current Microsoft adCenter customers can qualify to become an accredited Microsoft adExcellence Member. However, anyone can view the adExcellence Classroom training materials.

Q: Why did I receive an error when signing up for the adExcellence exam?
A: During the sign-up process, there are a few reasons why you might have received an error. First, confirm that you have entered your information correctly in all of the required fields. If you have received an error message regarding your Microsoft adCenter username, you might be trying to sign up with an adCenter username that has already registered for Microsoft adExcellence. Only one Microsoft adCenter username may be used per adExcellence registration. To add an additional username to your Microsoft adCenter account, please contact our support team at:

Q: Are there any costs associated with the program?
A: There is no fee or registration requirement to access the training materials in the Microsoft adExcellence Classroom. There is, however, a cost of $50 USD to take the adExcellence exam. This fee is required each time you take the adExcellence exam.

A: In order to achieve adExcellence Member status, you must be an active adCenter customer and have passed the Microsoft adExcellence accreditation exam.

Q: What are the benefits of adExcellence?
A: Microsoft adExcellence will give you the training and resources you need to become an expert and get the most out of adCenter. Upon earning Microsoft adExcellence Member status, you will receive an official Member logo and will be listed in our Membership Directory. The adExcellence logo makes it easy for others to recognize you as an adCenter expert. As the program evolves, we plan on providing our Members with added resources and incentives.

A: Though we recommend viewing all the training materials, it is not mandatory.

Q: How do I know if I’ve passed the exam?
A: You will find out the results of your exam immediately after completing all test questions. You will receive an e-mail that contains your test score, as well as other additional help information.

Q: How long is the exam?
A: The exam contains 100 questions and you are given one hour to complete the exam.

Q: Once I’m an adExcellence member, will I ever have to retake the exam?
A: Your adExcellence membership is good for one year. Prior to expiration, you will receive notification to retake the exam.

Q: What happens if I don’t pass the exam?
A: If you do not pass the exam, you may retake the exam at any time. There is a $50 USD fee each time you take the adExcellence exam.

LOGO/MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY

Q: Can I use the logo anywhere?
A: While we encourage use of the adExcellence logo, there are specific guidelines for where and how it can be used. For more information, please see our Logo Usage Guidelines.

Q: Can anyone use my logo?
A: The logo is non-transferable and may only be used by the person to whom it was given.

Q: Are there different levels of membership?
A: Currently we only offer the Microsoft adExcellence Member status. We plan on launching other levels in the near future. Information can be found on the adExcellence site and the adCenter blog.
